In business it is important to have a North Star, a guiding light, or to put it another way, something that sets vision and purpose and is instantly recognisable. Here is the background to the origin of the Purple Bear brand.
In 2017, my family and I sadly lost Val to pancreatic cancer. Val was the most lovely mother-in-law and friend to me over more than 25 years. Sadly and unexpectedly, three days after being diagnosed with this awful cancer, she was sadly taken from us. It was a truly terrible time in our lives.
I decided that I wanted to pay tribute to Val and given that Pancreatic Cancer UK
adopts purple as its colour, I chose to rebrand by introducing purple into the name and logo of my business.
Purple speaks to much of what I, and therefore my businesses, stand for - ambition, dignity and creativity.
The Bear was introduced into the name and brand as a symbol of confidence, leadership and optimism. These are traits that resonate with the way I approach life and business.
Whichever of the Purple Bear brands you choose to work with, you can expect professionalism, high standards and quality.
